Durk's debut studio album Remember My Name (2015) was released with Def Jam, as was his subsequent album Lil Durk 2X (2016). He then returned to the mixtape game, releasing Cause Y'all Waited (2018) before being signed by Alamo Records.
His first Billboard Hot 100 single was with 'Viral Moment' in 2020, which was a song from Just Cause Y'all Waited 2 (2020). Since then he has continued to have commercial success with a number of hit singles.
